About the Journal
Journal of Oncology aims to attract submissions from researchers, clinicians and reviewers devoted to advancing cancer research. We plan to feature original research studies, clinical trials, reviews and policy perspectives covering topics such as molecular oncology; immunotherapy; targeted therapies; radiation oncology; surgical oncology; cancer prevention; diagnostics; palliative care; cancer epidemiology; and translational research.
All articles will be freely accessible upon publication; no paywalls or reader fees. The journal will implement a transparent and rigorous peer review process; reviewers will receive clear guidance and authors will get timely, constructive feedback. Authors will retain copyright and will grant SERN a non‑exclusive licence to distribute their work under a standard open licence; full terms will be published on the site. Funding sources or sponsorships will be disclosed to uphold full editorial independence.
We will respect the privacy of all authors, reviewers and readers in accordance with SERN’s privacy policy. As part of SERN, our journal will run a fully digital, low‑carbon publishing workflow; this cost‑effective model keeps article processing fees minimal and supports equitable global participation. Our goal is to showcase rigorous oncology research that is accessible, sustainable and empowering for researchers across disciplines and regions.
