About the Journal

Journal of Agricultural Sciences is part of the SERN journal network, and it exists to center the critical work being done in agricultural research and innovation not just in labs and universities, but in farms, co-ops, villages, and policy rooms. It covers both traditional and emerging areas of agriculture, especially in the context of climate change, food security, agribusiness development, and sustainability transitions.

Focus & Scope Includes but not limited to:

  • Agronomy, crop science, and plant breeding

  • Soil science and sustainable land management

  • Animal husbandry and veterinary innovation

  • Agricultural economics and policy

  • Food systems and nutrition security

  • Agricultural engineering and mechanization

  • Climate-smart agriculture and environmental impact

We welcome practical field reports, applied science, high-quality conceptual papers, and everything in between. The journal values multilingual and multicultural scholarship and seeks submissions from both Global North and Global South contributors.
