About the Journal
Geology Frontier welcomes submissions from geoscientists, environmental researchers and practitioners working at the intersection of fundamental geology and real‑world application. Topics of interest include tectonic dynamics, sedimentology, mineral resources, geo‑hazards, landscape evolution, environmental geology, geophysics and geoengineering techniques.
All articles are freely accessible on publication; readers and institutions pay nothing to read. Our peer review is open and transparent; reviewers receive clear guidance, authors get timely feedback with constructive pointers. Authors retain ownership of their work and grant SERN a non‑exclusive licence to distribute under a standard open licence; full copyright information is available on the journal page. We also disclose all funding and sponsorship sources to protect editorial independence.
We respect contributor and reader privacy and process all data under SERN’s privacy policy; personal data is never shared outside approved use. As part of the Sustainable and Emerging Research Network we operate through a fully digital, low‑carbon workflow that reduces costs and environmental footprint. Our goal is to deliver geology research that is accessible, applicable and environmentally responsible.
