Open Access Policy
All articles are freely available immediately upon publication under a Creative Commons Attribution licence. Readers worldwide can access, reuse and cite the material without any barriers.

Editorial and Peer Review Process
Manuscripts are screened and then undergo double‑blind peer review by at least two independent experts. Our editorial board aims for fairness, quality and speed, with most decisions communicated within 6–8 weeks.

Copyright & Licensing
Authors retain copyright over their work. All content is licensed under CC BY, permitting reuse with proper attribution.

Article Processing Charges
Submission is free. Accepted manuscripts incur a minimal Article Processing Charge to support DOI registration and indexing. Waivers are available to ensure inclusive participation.

DOI Assignment & Indexing
Each publication is assigned a DOI. We actively pursue indexing in platforms like DOAJ, Google Scholar and OpenAIRE to maximize visibility within the SERN network.

Sponsorship & Transparency
SERN provides full hosting and peer‑review infrastructure at no cost to the journal. Authors are required to disclose funding sources and any potential conflicts of interest. Transparent editorial practices are encouraged, including optional publication of peer‑review history.

Privacy Statement
Author data (e.g. names, affiliations, email addresses) is used only for editorial evaluation and publication. Personal information remains confidential and is never shared with third parties without explicit consent.
